Placing Student-authored Works on Reserve

1

Obtain written authorization from student(s)

This authorization should include the following information (here's a sample):

  • title of work;
  • course number and semester;
  • length of time for which the authorization is valid; and
  • dated signature(s) of the author(s).

You don't need to submit this authorization to the library, but you should keep it on file, in case questions arise.

Complete the course reserves worksheet

Download the form and fill it in with the requested information.

Copies of the worksheet are also available at from the library; ask at the Service Desk.

3

Deliver completed, signed worksheet and materials to the library

Physical materials will be housed in either the Abbotsford or Chilliwack library; deliver materials to the library where you would like the materials available for your students.

  • The library makes every effort to safeguard reserve materials; however, we cannot accept responsibility for lost and/or damaged personal material.

Please allow one week for processing.
