Placing Faculty-authored Materials on E-reserve

Faculty may place digital copies of their own lecture notes, answer keys, solutions, etc. on course reserve. This greatly increases access to items and mitigates issues such as damaged or missing pages.

To place print copies of faculty-authored materials on reserve, see Placing Print and Video Materials on Reserve.

1

Complete the e-reserves worksheet

Download the form and fill it in with the requested information.

Copies of the worksheet are also available at from the library; ask at the Service Desk.

2

Deliver completed, signed worksheet and any materials to the library

Forward or deliver completed, signed form to the campus library where you would like the reserves to be placed.

  • Provide the library with either an electronic file (such as .docx, .tif, .pdf, or .xlsx file) or a good quality print copy for us to digitize. The library will create a course reserve record that links to the PDF file.
  • E-reserves will become dormant and no longer show in the library catalogue at the end of the semester.

Please allow one week for processing.
